4th Groove Godley
Frequently Asked
Questions.
Everything you need to know before you book — golf, baseball, facility access, lessons, memberships, and BYOB.
Who is 4th Groove for?
4th Groove is built for golfers and baseball players who want a dependable place to practice, train, and improve year-round. Beginners, competitive players, families, teams, and experienced athletes are all welcome.
What launch monitors do you use?
Our golf bays use Foresight Sports Falcon overhead launch monitors. The Falcon captures detailed ball and club data while keeping the hitting area clean and comfortable for both right- and left-handed players.
What simulator software do you use?
Our primary golf experience runs through GSPro, with realistic ball flight, detailed shot feedback, practice options, and a large library of virtual courses.
What courses can I play?
GSPro offers a large and regularly updated course library, including recreations inspired by well-known tournament venues and community-built layouts. Course availability changes as the GSPro library evolves.
Are there pitching machines in the batting cages?
No. Our cages are set up for tee work, soft toss, front toss, live arm work, and coach-led drills. The goal is to keep the training space flexible and focused on reps that translate to the field.
Can we move the divider net to make the cage larger?
The divider stays in place when only one cage is reserved so both lanes remain safe and independent. If both cages are reserved together, the divider can be opened to create one larger training area.
How do I get access to the facility?
4th Groove is a secured, unmanned facility. Make your booking first, then use the access instructions provided through your member or booking account. Public bookings are available during regular access hours, while select memberships include extended or 24/7 access.
Do you have instructions for using the equipment?
Yes. Quick-start instructions are available in the facility, and we can help if you have questions before or during your first session. If something does not look right, call us at (817) 242-6100.
What are common mistakes people make in the simulator?
Keep the ball inside the designated hitting area, give the Falcon a moment to lock onto the ball, and aim using the computer rather than changing the direction you swing into the screen. Practice swings close to the ball can occasionally trigger a false reading, so take them away from the hitting position.
Can I bring my own drinks and food?
Yes. 4th Groove is BYOB, and outside food and drinks are welcome. Bring what you want for your session and enjoy the facility responsibly. Guests who choose to drink are responsible for following all applicable laws.
Do I need a membership to use 4th Groove?
No. You can book golf simulator time or batting cage time without a membership. Memberships are designed for players who want recurring training, better value, added booking privileges, or extended access.
How do baseball lessons work?
Baseball lessons are available with our house instructors. Lessons are a flat $50 for 30 minutes or $90 for one hour, paid directly to the instructor. There is no additional 4th Groove facility fee.
One More Thing
Yes — 4th Groove is BYOB.
Bring your beverages, bring your food, and make your next golf or baseball session your own.
